Executive Chef
Anthony Swift (aka Swifty), or Chef Tony lives breathes, and––even while he’s sleeping––dreams the culture of culinary arts. As a young boy he would find himself standing on a chair in the kitchen next to his grandma tossing fresh vegetables in a pot to get her soup of the day started. The introduction started there, but the passion set in after the first lick of the chocolate whisk. Going through one of his roughest patches of life is when he realized that no matter how bitter life can get, food can always be sweet.

Swift gives credit and expressed gratitude to his longtime friends Anthony D’Angelo Jr, Sr, and Aunt Edie for gearing him up and starting him on his creative culinary journey in the local Italian gem “Tony D’s Restaurant.” Learning pasta and pastries there, he says he owes his barbecuing skills to his late friend Chef Ed LaDouceur, and his “touch of the island” from his daughter’s grandmother Raynooca.

All in all, the most important thing to Chef Tony is that cooking has always kept him close to family. Family is what makes him happy, so all he strives to do is share that experience by doing his best to make you and your families happy. Chef Tony hopes to make you smile with every bite, because life is what you make it.
